Angela Byrd, Patient Care Coordinator

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Angela has a BA in Health Services from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Community and Behavioral Health. Prior to joining Emory Urology, she was a patient services coordinator with the Emory Department of Otolaryngology at Emory University Hospital Midtown. "I am super excited to be on the team," she says.

Samantha Duncan, Patient Care Coordinator

For six years, Samantha worked on the program staff and as an educator at Camp Twin Lakes, a facility for special needs children. After receiving her BS in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University, she was a victim services coordinator for two years at Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center in Jonesboro, GA, primarily serving as an on-call victims advocate during the evidence collection process at the ERs of Southern Regional Medical Center, Riverdale; Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge; and Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Fayetteville. She then served as a case manager at the domestic violence shelter Haven House in McDonough for four years. "I decided to expand my work experience with the healthcare industry, and am excited to be part of the ESJH urology team," she says.

April Fayette, RN, Nurse Clinician

April has practiced as a registered nurse since 1988. Her career began in Miami, FL, on a telemetry unit at Palmetto General Hospital, though the majority of her experience has been in the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) at several hospital and ambulatory surgical centers. She also has experience in vascular, hospice, urology, and school nursing settings. "I'm happy to be joining the team, and look forward to being an asset," she says.

Kevin Moriles, Patient Services Coordinator

Kevin is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and Mississippi College, and has a BA in Biological Science and an MBS. He has a strong background in customer service, and joined Emory because of a burgeoning interest in working in healthcare and supporting patients. "I hope to enhance the patient experience at Saint Joseph's, and I am very excited to work here and help everyone to the best of my abilities," he says.

Nadine Stewart, RN, Clinic Manager

Nadine was born in Jamaica, but lived in Boston, MA, most of her life. After attending Georgia State University, she completed her graduate studies in nursing at Northeastern University in Boston. Her 12 years of nursing experience has largely focused on caring for hospitalized medical-surgical patients. Before coming to Emory, she was an assistant nurse manager at Wellstar. "Alijah, my busy 18-month old boy, is my greatest accomplishment," she says.
