The substantial clinical research portfolios of faculty of the Emory Department of Urology span a wide spectrum of urologic conditions and diseases. Integrated, multidisciplinary teams of physicians and scientists are focused on investigations that will benefit current and future patients and immediately impact patient care.
Our highly active research programs include trials involved with treating prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and improving and refining components of urologic surgery. These trials are integral to the foundation for future treatment of urologic conditions, whether benign or malignant.
The studies listed on this site were selected because of potential benefit and reasonable side effects. They have been extensively researched in pre-clinical or limited clinical trials, were reviewed by the Emory University Institutional Review Board for informed consent, and will be carefully monitored for safety and response.
