* The interviews consist of multiple 12 to 15-minute sessions with individual faculty members (and few residents and a fellow). The faculty members will have already reviewed your application packet; the objective parameters such as test scores, medical school grades and ranking, etc., and the subjective parameters such as your performances at various rotations and electives, letters of reference, your personal statement/essay, etc. The interviews tend to be well structured in that each faculty member is assigned one topic to focus on and explore. Over the years, we have found this to be a more effective way to learn about you and your performance potential, work ethics, character, trainability, suitability into the program, expectation and your future potential.
Please take every opportunity to learn about the program through our website. This will help you understand our missions and objectives and how they fit with your own professional and personal goals and objectives.
