Advances in Urology Course

The 2017 edition of the Emory Department of Urology's Advances in Urology course will be held December 8-9, 2017, at the W Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia.

Purposes and Objectives

Urology is a consistently evolving field that requires the ongoing review of diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. Emory's Advances in Urology course is designed to facilitate this process by covering recent scientific updates and advances in urology practice and urologic research during 2017.

Core Competencies: Patient Care and Medical Knowledge

This course contributes to the American Board of Urology Maintenance of Certification requirements of 90 hours of CME.

Who Should Attend

The course is intended for professional urologists, urology residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and urology nurses. Participants are encouraged to bring cases for discussion and interaction.
